brain - checked out !

Most everyone knows that I'm somewhat of an organizational freak... just a tad bit so.  Lately however I've made an effort to not be so anal when it comes to travel.  I  no longer travel with our itinerary in a notebook,  I no longer plan each day , I no longer make 2 page lists of things to remember, and I no longer freak about getting to the airport 3 hours early,  at least I try not to.  I'm still total OCD when walking out the door,  check, double check, check again, ask Rob, unzip and look again, to make sure that all the docs are where i put them (like they move in the middle of the night just to terrorize me)

I'm famous for packing too light.  While I was packing a huge box of tampons in my suitcase for a week long trip and complaining about not having enough room,  my mom looked at me and simply said "they have stores where you're going"... HA !  Novel concept !  sheesh...   Since then,  I tend to pack way light.  I can do a week road trip using a Gold's Gym duffle bag.

That being said,  I'm struggling to keep OCD in check tonight.  I put all my stuff out on the bed to put in a suitcase... and there's like nothing there.  Hmmmm... so I ran down the list in my head (I KNEW I should have written it down), and wondered what I was missing.
running shoes
heartrate monitor
hat
Rudy Projects
socks
running pants
running shorts
sport bra
shuffle / headphones
bag o' snacks (beans and bloks)
bagels
peanut butter
2 sweaters
2 t-shirts
under garments
sleep stuff
jeans
camera
carry on backpack with various other small items
But... it looks like NOTHING for 4 days....
So I had to ask Rob to take a look.  He ran down my mental list and said, it's good... it's all there.
OK.... I'll believe him... but I still feel like something's missing.
I said - they have stores there
He said - we have credit cards
HA !
GOOD TO GO !
XOXOXOXO
Update on Tuesday when I get back
