4 - I ran 3 miles yesterday, waterfront. It was good, but my legs felt like cement blocks with cramps. Brilliant. But heartrate was managable and I didn't get dizzy or feel like I was going to throw up. What a great activity, this running stuff...
5 - check out this months Oxygen magazine. It's a good one... a 'frugal' gym under a hundred bucks for stuff at home... step, dumbells, exercise band, yoga mat, ball... good stuff... and some great moves to use !
6 - protein amount needed per day : muscle building: 1.8 to 2.2 Endurance athlete: 1.2 to 1.4
Weight loss: 1.6 to 2.0 grams per kilogram of body weight each day

8 - I burned 1851 calories in my slooooowwww 2:47:00 13.1 mile run the other day... snazzy - the average 155 pound chick during 1 hour of moderate weightlifting burns 211 calories !
