or say our weather is icky... and you can't run / walk / jog... or somehow MOVE... This is my sister on new's year day - and her account :
New Years' Day the women's running team climbed / hiked / slid up Lazy Mountain in Palmer, 3700' on packed snow. Good hour climb up, and a spectacular view on top, but only about -10. We stayed about an hour, built a fire and ate some good chocolate, before heading back down. We layered for it and wore our trail running shoes with ice cleats, but it was still pretty slick. We ended up sliding a lot of the way down on our butts, laughing hysterically. It was a good time.

Your Sister is RAD. Can't wait to meet her. Those are tough chicks!! Good thing they brought chocolate!
