What ? A treadmill ?? what ??

First - have i told you that i have a)the very bestest most comfortable sport bra i've ever owned ???  b) killer running shorts ??
Funny things to have for a girl who recently hasn't been using them often enough to a) call it a 'sport' bra and b) running... ha !
(bra is the Lululemon Flow Y Bra II and shorts are Lululemon Groovy Run Short)

OK... back on track (ha !  no pun intended... really !).  I've been icing and ibuprofen'ing as much as possible to get the shin / outside calf knot to feel OK.  And today,  I figured screw this....  my lungs are going to collapse in Wenatchee if I don't do something.    I headed down to our little condo gym, turned on CNN, and pushed... hard... and yes,  my lungs just about collapsed, and yes,  I went WWWAAAYYY faster than I ever do.  But I wanted to see how I could do.   I didn't want to go for distance as much as I wanted to go for hurt (lungs and such).  The distance part,  hell,  after mile 4 it really doesn't matter anyway.  But I wanted to make SURE I could make it to mile 4.  Today... i started with less distance though.
  • 2 miles
  • 8 minute miles (jjjjeeeezzzzuuuussss that's UBER FAST for me.. I'm a 10 minute mile girl)
  • max heart rate (are you sitting down ?) 192 (oops... maybe a little too high)
And I did OK !!!  I'm icing now...
Tomorrow - more of the same
On a side note... and perhaps TMI... but serious acid reflux these days.  More so when I'm on the bike or running ... but I have prescription stuff for it and it's just not workin'... frowny face on that... I'll have to research and see what I can come up with...

WAY TO GO!!

And for the acid reflux - you may want to try papaya enzyme. All natural, cheap - you can even find it at Fred Meyer's. You can even chew them and they taste a little bit like Pez. It helps with digestion and reflux.
