what is a goal?
A goal is a written, measurable statement with a specific subject and a deadline. A goal is a milestone in the creation of your ideal life. A goal is what inspires you to do the work everyday.

how to write your goals: 5 steps
A goal needs to be specific and measurable so that you can easily determine if you've achieved it. Here's an example of a wish: "I don't work out enough, I wish I were in better shape." And here's how to turn it into a goal:
- Use affirmative language: "I will exercise more"
- Write in present tense: "I work out more and am in better shape"
- Make it measurable: "I exercise twice a week"
- Be concise. No need to justify: "I run on Mondays and Wednesdays"
- Be specific: "I run for 45 minutes on Mondays and Wednesdays"
You know I love this stuff - not just the clothes (they rock) but the overall thought process behind them. They have a "goal tending" website.
Setting specific goals starts with figuring out your values; your goals are based on what is important to you! What do you want from life? What type of activities and sort of circumstances make you feel the best? Think about things that get you excited and moments in your life when you felt truly great. !!
