A little too zen for me... but if you just take the overall jist of what is being said, it's a good thing !
Me, I'd say get your a** off the couch, quit whining, and at least go for a freakin' walk ! Oh, another favorite of mine (and sadly, i say this to myself way too frequently!)... "if you don't wanna do the whole workout, at least shorten the sets... but get it done" and "if you don't wanna do a long run on a treadmile, at least go do 30 minutes. It's better than nothing"
And then, usually, when I get going, I get the original goal completed anyway ! It's all about STARTING and not SITTING !
You Get What You Give
We'd all like a quick-fix solution to our problems, an express lane to our goals. But if you're looking for something meaningful, it calls for hard work and perseverance. A halfway job will produce halfway results. Remember, you will only reap the benefits of whatever effort you exert in the first place. While it's tempting to be lazy and cut corners, remember that down the road, you're only cheating yourself, and those cop-outs will become regrets. Draw from your inner strength to stay focused on your goals. A little more work today means a much better tomorrow.
